What to expect

We are excited to present the third instalment of the Bad Pond Festival, taking over both rooms of iconic seafront club The Arch in Brighton on 27th and 28th April 2018; this 600 capacity venue marks a notable step up in size for the festival, building on the huge success of the event over the past two years.

We've decided to go even bigger this year by hosting the festival at iconic seafront venue The Arch. 

 
 

General info

AGE RESTRICTIONS

The Arch restricts the age of those attending to children 14 years old and over, with under 16's accompanied by an adult (over 18)

ID & ALCOHOL POLICY

All customers who look under the age of 25 will be required to provide ID when purchasing alcohol. If you are under 18 you are committing a criminal offence if you attempt to buy alcohol and you may be ejected without a refund or held until a responsible adult can come and collect you.

People over the age of 18 found purchasing drinks for those not of legal age will be ejected without a refund.

Only acceptable forms of proof are accepted (Passport or Driver's License).

Only alcohol purchased on premises from The Arch should be consumed in the venue.

DRUGS

The Arch takes a zero tolerance policy towards drugs in relation to possession, dealing or using.

BANDS

Bands are on stage between the following times:
Friday 17:30-22:00
Saturday 13:30-22:00

Music finishes by 10pm each night

TRANSPORT

DRIVING

From the NORTH 

Follow signs to London via M1 and take the M25 counter clockwise towards Heathrow and Gatwick. Take exit 7 off the M25 to join the M23 and follow this down to Brighton. 

From the WEST

Take either M3, M4 or M5 towards London and take the M25 counter clockwise towards Heathrow and Gatwick. Take exit 7 off the M25 to join the M23 and follow this down to Brighton.

TOP TIP If you're travelling from Glasgow via M6 make sure you stop at Tebay services...you will not regret it.

TRAIN

If you plan to travel to Bad Pond Festival by train, the best station to arrive at is Brighton.

COACH

A number of coach operators run services to Brighton which include (but are not limited to) www.nationalexpress.com and www.megabus.com

PLANE

If you are travelling to Bad Pond from overseas, the closest airport is Gatwick Airport, and from Gatwick Airport the easiest way to get to Brighton is by train. If you arrive at any other UK airport, please refer to the other modes of transport for onward journey to Brighton. The Arch (the venue where Bad Pond is held) is roughly a 20 minute walk from Brighton train station, or there is a taxi rank at the station.
